From the outermost filling inward, moisture-wicking bamboo and mulberry silk pull heat and humidity away, followed by a loft of cashmere and alpaca that cushions the shoulders and hips without resistance, and a resilient Moosburger® horsetail layer that restores shape after pressure. Deep layers of real Shetland wool and cotton add thermal mass and help absorb movement before it travels through the spring system.
The three-layer hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system houses 3,366 independently responding springs in a King size, allowing the mattress to map closely to the body’s contours while minimizing motion transfer. Six rows of hand side-stitching secure the edge, ensuring consistent support from center to perimeter. Hand-tufting with woollen tufts and twine compresses upholstery layers at regular intervals, stabilizing the fillings for the life of the mattress and preventing migration over time.
